Across San Patricio's three campuses, we offer a wide range of enriching and fun extracurricular activities for our students to develop their talents, skills and interests in different areas beyond the curriculum. Some of these activities centre around academics, languages, arts, or sports, while others focus on promoting important values and student well-being, namely, our enrichment co-curricular options, ranging from debate club to international competitions and community service.

With our expert sports tuition, many of our students have become professional athletes and secured full sports scholarships to study in US colleges after graduating from CSP Madrid, including California San Diego, Hannibal-Lagrange, Missouri Valley, Felician University, DePauw University, Briar Cliff, Southeastern University, or the Stevens Institute of Technology.

Visual & Performing Arts

Our exclusive and long-standing San Patricio Art Centre provides a multidisciplinary, versatile, multi-purpose and universal vision of the various artistic programmes developed, from sculpture to film studies or drama across our three campuses. With specialised rooms and facilities for the different art forms, it offers students the opportunity to train in a "live" artistic environment capable of stimulating creative thinking, research, and imagination for their own creations. The centre provides all the necessary means for students to develop the required skills and achieve their desired artistic profile, from visual to performing arts.

Drama and musical productions are staged each year, ensuring students have ongoing opportunities to exercise their talents in theatre, song and dance.

Extracurricular sports

Sports

Sport is an integral feature of life at our school from the early years and above, allowing our pupils to experience a diverse range of disciplines to develop their mental, physical and social well-being. We aim for all students to enjoy physical activity and experience the benefits of individual and team sports in our comprehensive sports facilities across our campuses, as well as different competitions, while understanding the importance of good sportsmanship and teamwork.

Most of our sports extracurriculars include a competition and a non-competition option with expert coaching, especially from secondary school onwards. Our basketball and volleyball teams in particular perform extremely well in interschool competitions in Spain, with some students becoming professional players, and securing scholarships to study in universities in the United States.

Enrichment Activities & Clubs

Our extensive list of clubs, after-school lessons, and additional classes provides children with the ideal foundation for self-guided learning. From public speaking and debate to emotional intelligence classes, mindfulness, and catechism, students can benefit from an extensive list of options. 

Additionally, students are allocated to different Houses which hold healthy competitions throughout the school year. During House team events and co-curricular sessions, our students can unleash their individuality, spend time with their peers, and refine abilities that empower them to reach their full potential and increase their chances of future success.
